FEE DISCLOSURE

Managed funds, Superannuation, Pension Funds and Margin Lending

When you purchase a new investment using the no advice lodgement service, Refund Easy will rebate 100% of the initial commission on managed funds, superannuation funds and allocated pensions. This 100% rebate will take the form of extra units in the investment. Where this is not possible to rebate the initial commission in the form of additional units, the payments will be added to your quarterly refund.

100% of Trailing commissions collected on managed funds, superannuation funds, pension funds and margin lending accounts will be paid to you a quarterly basis after the Refund Easy monthly fee is deducted.

Personal Insurance Policies

When you purchase an insurance policy using the no advice lodgement service we will refund 100% of the initial commission less $500 per application Refund Easy fee after the second annual premium has been paid.

100% of Trailing commissions collected on Insurance policies will be paid to you on a quarterly basis after the Refund Easy monthly fee is deducted.

Structured Products and Agri-business Investments

When you purchase a new investment using the no advice lodgement service, Refund Easy will rebate 100% of the initial commission Structured Products and Agri-business investments. This 100% rebate will take the form of extra units in the investment. Where this is not possible to rebate the initial commission in the form of additional units, the payments will be added to your quarterly refund.

Corporate/ Employer Funds and Badged Platforms

Some Corporate/ Employer superannuation funds will not act on the instructions of only one member to refund commission on an account. The structure of the fund only allows the employer to adjust the commission in consultation with the associated financial planner for the fund as a whole. Should this apply to your fund we will contact you in writing.

Some Platforms are what is called a 'badged platform'. This is to say a provider of financial services has negotiated to use the shell and administrative services of a larger platform provider but display its own brand and name on it. In many cases commission will only be paid in house to financial planners of that financial service provider in which case it may not be possible to have commission refunded. Should this apply to your fund we will contact you in writing.

Refund Easy Refund Policy

Refund Easy will refund 60% of any commission received, capped at a maximum fee of $280 pa for individuals and couples. Any commission received in excess of this will be 100% refunded.

A cheque will be posted out made payable to the client and will be mailed to the clients address in December, March, June and September.

For the no advice insurance lodgement service a fee of $500 will be payable. This can be paid up front by the client or deducted from commission payable by the insurer. After the payment of the second annual premium any commission payable from the initial lodgement will be refunded to the client. Should an application be processed by Refund Easy but declined by the insurer for any reason an invoice will be sent to the client for the $500 administration fee and be payable within 14 days.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You must advise Refund easy of any change in personal details such as address, phone numbers etc. If we are not advised we will not be held liable for mail posted to old addresses.

You must not use Refund Easy for any illegal activity.

You must not impersonate or apply for a refund other than yourself or an entity to which you are entitled to a share. In the case of business investments and self managed superannuation funds any refund cheques will be made in the name of the entity.

You must provide Refund Easy with a copy of a previous statement for any investment or insurance policy if requested to confirm the entity ownership.

You should seek accounting advice as to how the distribution of commissions to you should be accounted for in relation to your tax return. We will provide you with each refund cheque a statement of commission transactions. This should be discussed with your accountant as it is a redistribution of income from Refund Easy.

You must comply with all laws applicable to your current residence and within Australia when dealing with Refund Easy.

You acknowledge that all information provided by Refund Easy or able to be accessed via the Refund Easy website including promotional material, may be prepared by third party providers and that Refund Easy is making no recommendation as to the appropriateness of the product or service to you or providing an assurance or warranty as to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information provided.

JURISDICTION

The jurisdiction for the interpretation and governance of these "Terms and Conditions" is held in the state of Victoria. You submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Victoria.

If any one or more of the above "Terms and Conditions" are held to be invalid by a Court of law, the remaining Terms and Conditions will continue with full effect.

The clauses relating to Limitation of Liability and Jurisdiction shall survive the ending of this agreement.
